teach·er
noun \ˈtē-chər\
: a person or thing that teaches something; especially : a person whose job is to teach
students about certain subjects
One of the most
unappreciated heroes. The meaning is too bland. It’s too underrated. That’s why
I want to give massive thanks to teachers all over the world for such great
actions.
A teacher is a
leader, a guider, a corrector, and most importantly, a parent. Teachers played enormous roles in children's lives for the
past few centuries. They were remembered, loved and adored. Teachers never fail
to inspire students to aspire. They ‘teach’ for a reason not just for a job. We
are meant to be someone in the future, and they are the reason why we will
achieve it.
One of the teachers that are in
my ‘cool list’, is my very own adviser, Ma’am April Berganos. There are still
many teachers in my ‘cool list’ but for now, I’ll write about my adviser. Although
sometimes moody, she never nosedives to make us laugh. She had led our class to
be the most behaved class of the third years (according to Ma’am Lucky) by her
never ending sermons and threats. Yes, she may be scary but she’s one of the
most approachable teachers I have ever met. She’s also so open to topics you’ll
never expect a teacher may understand (like up-to-the minute trends and
whatnot). She may be very grouchy of our nonchalant whereabouts, we tend to
automatically do what she wants or expect probably because of fear (joke). To
sum it up, Ma’am April is my kind of teacher, she’s quirky but not too quirky,
she’s fun but knows when to be serious, and very, very kind.
