The first day of school was just
like what I expected. I’d be a total outcast, considering the fact that I have
never been classmates to most of my classmates today. Coming from the Nitrogen
class was so hard for me, my classmates would probably expect me of some crazy,
grade conscious weirdo, but the truth is, I am not one of those people.
Only a few talked to me. The
teachers were just like what I expected. Nothing’s really a surprise for me;
I’ve been expecting all of this. Ma’am Malou is currently our class adviser for
the meantime, for Ma’am April is having her maternity leave, which we can
totally understand. We didn’t know that Ma’am Ruby will be handling our Ad Stat
subject. It was quite terrifying that she’s our teacher, knowing that she’s the
head teacher of the Science department but she was replaced by a new teacher in
the end of the week. Every recess, I would wait outside the Nitrogen’s classroom
to wait for my friends to have snacks with them. It may be embarrassing, but
they’ve been my friends for 2 years now. Mathematics was scary. No, not Ma’am
Juliet, the subject itself is creepy. We’d be tackling some new bloody lessons,
and the teacher herself said it was going to be hard. Personally, I don’t like
Math, but I need to somehow try to understand it. Our ESP subject was fine. The
teacher seems to be a nice person to teach the subject and we’d be talking
about aspects of being a good person and such. AP felt like the 7th
grade because Ma’am Mye will teach the subject again. We’ll be learning world
history and I am seriously nervous about it. Spanish was fun, Ma’am May was so
fun to be with, although I know I’m going to suck at this subject, I am really
looking forward to it. Then we have Filipino, the teacher was nice but I know
we’ll have tons of activities in this subject. Science was fun, I felt
comfortable with the teacher and our lesson is interesting. I am not that good
in Science but I find it very interesting to discover all the explanations in
the world. Analytic Geometry was fun
although it’s still Math, Ma’am Lucky is so teenage type. English was amusing
too because of Ma’am May. English may be boring for me but I think I’ll really
enjoy this year’s English.
My classmates are nice. And at the
end of the week, I found the people to really talk to in the class. It may be a
little awkward to hang out with some boys, but they’re the people I’ve known
for a year and so. However, Ceciree was with me so I felt comfortable hanging
out with Aaron, Alexis and others.
I wouldn’t say the first week of
school was so fun. But the junior year is really daunting; I should really be
serious about my studies. I know I’ll be experiencing so much pressure and
difficulties but I’ll take it. I’ll consider it as a challenge, a challenge for
me to face, to make me a better person who is knowledgeable and courageous.
